​This course introduces student to the major functions of management. Emphasis is on planning, organizing, controlling, staffing, directing, and communicating. It also includes evolution and scope of management, decision-making, strategy, and the importance of management in the global environment and ethical considerations of management decisions. Upon completion, students should be able to work as contributing members of a team utilizing these functions of management.​
